This vest is based on the proven NAVY material and is very warm even without the use of the heating elements. Thanks to good insulation and excellent moisture wicking to the outside, the diver’s upper body is effectively protected from heat loss. In this way, the vest offers a high level of comfort even when switched off.
The heater includes four independent elements with a total output of 50 watts. If one heating element fails, the others continue to work. The heating elements are located close to the inside, so most of the heat generated heats the diver’s upper body.
The vest is protected against short circuits by a fuse. This fuse can be easily replaced if necessary. To do this, simply open the inner zipper at the bottom of the front.
The back part of the vest is slightly longer than the front. It does not “roll” up when worn and protects the back well. The shortened front allows a P-valve hose to be connected without any problems.
If you want to wash the heated vest, first remove the heating elements and cables, which is very simple. You can then machine wash the vest at 30 degrees and a mild detergent without spinning. Hang the vest to dry (do not use a tumble dryer). The heated vest comes in a bag where it can be transported and stored lying flat.
